Jaipur, one of India’s fastest-growing urban centers, is witnessing a steady rise in the population of stray and community dogs. With rapid urbanization, increased traffic, and limited structured animal welfare infrastructure, these animals are highly vulnerable to injuries, infections, and diseases. Access to timely veterinary care remains a major challenge, often resulting in untreated wounds, prolonged suffering, and increased mortality among street dogs.

In response to this critical issue, Hope and Beyond, a Jaipur-based animal welfare organization, has launched a focused initiative to provide onsite medical treatment for dogs. Instead of relocating animals to clinics—which can cause stress, delay treatment, and limit reach—the organization delivers immediate care at the location itself.

This approach ensures:

Rapid emergency response

Reduced stress and trauma for animals

Wider coverage across urban areas

Improved recovery outcomes

By bringing veterinary care directly to the streets, the initiative addresses a crucial gap in urban animal welfare and promotes a more humane and efficient treatment model.

•Provide timely onsite medical treatment to injured and sick dogs

•Reduce animal suffering and mortality rates

•Control the spread of infectious diseases

•Promote humane treatment of community animals

•Increase community awareness and participation in animal welfare

The project is implemented across various localities in Jaipur, covering:-

•Residential colonies

•Market areas

•Industrial zones

•Peri-urban regions
